Updates on Emerging Trends in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Surgery

Under the theme “Updates on Emerging Trends in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Surgery”, the PARS 2026 program spans facial and breast aesthetic surgery, tissue reconstruction, autologous fat grafting, and applications of regenerative medicine.

Autologous fat grafting continues to be an area of particular interest. Beyond contouring and volume restoration, issues such as fat-graft survival, tissue quality, and the long-term stability of outcomes remain important subjects for research and discussion.

SVF (Stromal Vascular Fraction) and other regenerative applications are also featured in the program, with approaches related to tissue regeneration and rejuvenation.

The convergence of surgery and biological factors reflects how modern plastic surgery is increasingly moving beyond the goal of altering form alone.

New Techniques Must Be Grounded in Evidence and Safety

Another notable aspect of PARS 2026 is the emphasis on patient safety, risk management, and evidence-based practice alongside technical presentations.

This reflects an increasingly important principle in clinical practice: a new technique must not only demonstrate the potential to achieve good outcomes, but also be evaluated in terms of indications, risks, scientific evidence, and its applicability to specific patient groups.

In plastic and aesthetic surgery, where expectations for outcomes are often high, risk control is especially important. Decisions regarding the choice of technique, the extent of intervention, or the management of a complex case should be made in the context of the individual patient rather than being driven by trends alone.

Bringing Together International Speakers and Experts

This year’s conference brings together international speakers alongside Vietnamese physicians, specialists, and researchers from a wide range of fields related to plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, and regenerative medicine.

The PARS 2026 faculty includes experts from international professional organizations, universities, and medical centers, including specialists with professional affiliations or links to ISAPS, ASPS, EURAPS, and ISPRES.

This diversity of professional backgrounds creates an opportunity for the same clinical question to be examined from multiple perspectives.

This also reflects one of PARS’s core objectives: connecting advances in international medicine with plastic surgery practice in Vietnam.

In addition to scientific presentations, the program provides opportunities for delegates to engage directly with colleagues and experts from different countries, expanding professional networks and sharing practical experience.

Eligible delegates are expected to receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) certification in accordance with current regulations of the Ministry of Health.
